Embrace over 40
Lifestyle
As well as being into Fitness and Nutrition, I have always loved Fashion and Interior Design.
Back in the ‘70s and ‘80’s I was the girl who changed her outfits at least 5 times a day and would often be moving furniture around in our family room or creating little areas of ‘style’ on bookcases or console tables. I now wish I hadn’t thrown away all those editions of Vogue and Elle Decoration!
Now in my late 40s I can see how important it is to feel good in my clothes and to really enjoy the home that I live in. It’s that element of looking after yourself and how you live that brings back a true sense of heightened self-esteem and confidence which sometimes is lacking as we get older.
Fashion
Over the years, many of us have built up a fantastic repertoire of clothes! Unfortunately, however, many of these purchases no longer seem “right” – many of them don’t fit our bodies in the right way anymore. Did they shrink in the wash?! Sadly not but because of thickening waistlines and our increased body fat our favourite LBD doesn’t hang quite right.
With so much going on in our lives, many of us just simply do not have the time to put an outfit together – we need a more “minimal” wardrobe for easier decision making.
If you want to give your wardrobe a makeover, then I have lots of helpful tips for you. Embrace your age with ageless style!
Home
With our body going through so many changes, both hormonally and physically, I want to live in an environment that is calm, ordered and comfortable. Our home is our sanctuary so we can rest, restore, relax and then recharge!
